SG Picture?

This seems to come up in different threads and it got little response last time I brought it up but lets see what happens if I make it it's own thread.

So, if we did put together a supergroup artwork piece featuring which ever character you would prefer (preferably one others may recongnize) would you:

1- be interested?
2- be willing to spend a max of 10$? 25$? 50$? more ?
3- prefer a villain piece and a hero piece? or more attention on just one piece?

(btw even if everyone said 50+ I still think we should get what we want at the most reasonable price possible, the 8 characters piece we did with the art forum group came out to 7$ per character [if I remember correctly] and turned out like this for heroes and for the same price like this for villains not that I am recommending this style. I am simply saying we have options. )

Assuming we would just do one piece:
4- which character would you like to include
5- where can the references for that character be found?
6- do you have an idea for a scene/context you would see this in? (ex.: rooftops? alley? crime scene? bat cave? base? everyone in SG colors? SG logo in the background? on a flag? on a skylight (a la Batman)? action scene? simple posing? ... )

1- yes
2- $50+. If the cost is low enough, I might be able to cover the cost for some that can't... but that may create more problems than solutions.
3- Ideally, one of each... super-ideally, a joint piece like Marvel did that has all the heroes on one side and all the villains on the other. It would be massive and probably way too expensive.
4- Mediocrity Man (hero) Megabyte Man (villain)
5- See Kat's thread... I have another series of Mediocrity images I PM'd her. Can get more of Megabyte.
6- Just posing. Anything else will probably get overly complex or drive up the price by adding too many things. Plus, knowing us, it would be difficult to get us all to agree on the same setting... so just posing.

4. Mike Honcho. I don't really have a "main" villain since I play hero side much more often. I guess I'll have to remedy that situation.

4- Probably Devil in a Red Dress and... a villain.

cool so that gives us 4 characters ... on a "Versus" or "simple hero" piece ... we may have the basis for something here ... I think 6 characters would make for a nice number ... gives room to every character ... and it looks like a group piece ... is anyone else interested?

I'm very interested in this idea but my finances are a little tight these days so I probably wouldn't be able to contribute more than $25 at best right now.

See ... I knew there had to be more interest out there ... do you two have a toon in mind and if so do you have references for that toon that we could use for the piece?

with the SG members at the top, some evil doers would be in the foreground (not ninjas but they could just be henchmen, or other members if we have that much interest)

and to be thorough I should finaly get Thornster into the SG too ...

(( and 7 is exaclty the number of members at the top there ... hehe ... not that I want to limit it at 7 ... but I wouldn't go over 12 personally))


Then again this is more like "just posing"
